Assistant General Manager - Church and Union Charleston

Church and Union Charleston is looking for an assistant general manager to join our dynamic team.

Location: Charleston, SC

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $70,000-$75,000

The ideal candidate is passionate for food and outstanding hospitality with 1-3 years prior restaurant management experience. Must be service oriented, have developed understanding of financials (ex. Cost of goods sold, profit and loss) scheduling, hiring, and firing. They would assimilate well into our company culture of “There Is Only We” and work to uphold a fun and positive work environment.

Responsibilities include:

· Oversee operations in concert with our GM

· Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus

· Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally

· Assist with recruitment and training of employees

· Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations

· Manage shifts focused on guest satisfaction

· Awareness of business reviews and ability to manage and maintain them

Requirements include:

· 1-3 years of upscale or fine dining management experience

· Desire to work in a fun, positive, high-volume work environment

· Outstanding leadership skills

· Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills

· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS systems

· Energetic, warm, personable, and professional demeanor

· Open availability
